Dry roast sesame seeds in microwave for 30 seconds. Let it cool. Blitz them in a grinder ensuring not overdoing as it will release oil.
On medium heat add oil in a pan. Add cumin and mustard seeds. Once it starts fluttering add onions and ginger. Sauté for a minute and add tomato puree, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and jaggery. Let it cook for a minute while stirring. Add in sesame seeds powder and mix well. Finally add in the chopped baby tomatoes and mix well. Let it cook until tender. Do not overcook.
Transfer in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with rice, naan, puri, roti etc. Enjoy!
