Step:

  1. Presoak the dried chestnut with hot water then remove the excess skin

  2. With oil saut the star anise,clove with soft Pork Rib then add water and bring it to a boil

  3. Add in the chestnut and dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and sugar and mix well and bring it to a boil

  4. Transfer all ingredients to a pressure cooker then add in the DANG GUI AND KEICH (optional if you cannot find this ingredients) and cook on high for 30 minutes (if using normal pot then just simmer in Low heat for 1 hour)

Ingredients

  1. 800 grams soft Pork rib
  2. 40 dried chestnut
  3. 3 star anise
  4. 5 clove
  5. 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
  6. 4 tbsp light soy sauce
  7. 3 tbsp brown sugar depending on your sweetness preferences
  8. 2 tbsp oil
  9. 350 ml water
  10. 8 slice Dang Gui (Chinese Angelica)
  11. 10 Keichi (Wolfberries)
