Mix together the butter, sour cream and salt.
Work in the flour until the dough holds together.
Knead lightly into 2 balls.
Roll out each ball so it is bigger in diameter than your 9 inch pie plate.
Gently place 1 of the crusts in the pie plate.
After placing filling of choice in the first pie crust, cover with the 2nd pie crust and crimp the edges to seal.
Cut small slits in the top crust to vent.
