Step:

  1. Cut the top from a ripe pineapple.

  2. Cut out core.

  3. Loosen flesh from the shell and cut into 8 wedges.

  4. Place on foil.

  5. Sprinkle with sugar.

  6. Pour gin over the top.

  7. Wrap in foil.

  8. Broil 5 to 6 inches from coals until the fruit becomes tender.
