Mix all the ingredients apart from milk....add the milk in bits till the dough comes together...
Note:I used half of the recipe
Set aside the dough to rest and rise...it should double in size
Once it has proofed,deflate it and pinch out some balls of dough
Roll out each ball into a 1/4 inch thickness... Use a circular glass or donut cutter to cut out your dough
Set it aside to proof for the second time
Deep fry in hot oil and let it cook on both sides
Once ready dust the hot donuts in some icing sugar..
